University Cafeteria
“Cafeteria service is a key action aligned with UNNE student wellbeing policy that aims to lighten up one of the main student expenses: food.”
(Delfina Veiravé, UNNE Rector)
University performance is sensitive to a balanced diet, which depends on the studying request. For this reason, the Universidad Nacional del Nordeste University offers an excellent quality diet in its cafeterias.
UNNE has three cafeterias: two in Corrientes at Sargento Cabral Campus and Deodoro Roca Campus and another at Resistencia Campus. There, 33 agents work daily to host 1900 people, among which 1100 are grant - holding students and 800 are students, teachers, and non-teaching members.
The cafeterias, administered by the Universidad Nacional del Nordeste University Foundation (FUNDUNNE), have air conditioning and TV to give more comfort to the educative community. This allows UNNE community to have a meeting place while, at the same time, it has access to a low-cost balanced diet, which has a key social function for hundreds of students in the university system.
Currently, the problem that prevents us from satisfying all UNNE members’ needs is the cafeteria limited capacity. However, we are working to solve the problems that this involves.
Our service is available from Monday to Saturday, from 11.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. from March to December.
Our principal menu is weekly designed by a nutritionist and it includes a starter, main dish, side dish, dessert, and some bread.
