Every year a complex network of proposals is designed in the cultural centers where academic spaces and shows converge on different aspects of the cultural and social life.
In turn, from the UNIVERSITY CULTURAL CENTER in Corrientes and the NORTHEASTERN CULTURAL CENTER in Resistencia, significant space is given to new artistic expressions with a critical and experimental profile.
Such centers welcome the new challenges that contemporary art imposes; their aim is to promote the production of new artists and develop a theoretical approach.
Film screenings and discussions, choir meetings, marathons of theatrical performances, production clinics and work analysis, concerts and recitals of different music genres, book presentations and exhibitions are some of the activities that take place in the centers.
In turn, the workshops of artistic expression of drawing and painting, folk dances, popular music, literary, theater and body expression, among others, are part of the offer on a daily basis which strengthens knowledge, provides techniques and consolidates their own artistic languages.
UNNE, through its two cultural centers, organizes the UNNE award for LETTERS and VISUAL ARTS, as a way of stimulating production and acknowledging the talent of local artists. Another public call for international impact is "PLAY, video art week". There, year after year, art and technology come together in a massive event.
Fostering spaces for reflection and debate are the pillars when it comes to having an open cultural vision.
Choir of the University
The choir is an artistic vocational organization made up of students, teachers and non-teachers from our university as well as retired professionals and people from the community in general who find choral singing a way of expression and communication. Works of various styles such as classical, Argentine popular, Latin American and contemporary music are addressed.
Listening to all the voices in the spaces of cultural construction is one of the pillars of the university extension.

Network of graduate models
The Network of graduate models of the Universidad Nacional del Nordeste University was created on 3rd June 2016 (Res.No. 230/ 17 C.S).
Currently, the Universidad Nacional del Nordeste has a Network of Libraries that consists of a Central Library and all the Libraries of UNNE Faculties and Institutes. The geographical configuration of the University, whose academic and administrative headquarters are in the provinces of Corrientes and Chaco and in different campuses, led to ponder on the development of this project based on the application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), as a means to solving such fragmentation and guaranteeing service to library users.
The UNNE Library Network unifies criteria for the standardization of the loading of new registries, encourages the training and education of its agents and collaborative work, and has technical personnel in charge of providing infrastructure support and technical advice to all the members of the network.
General Directorate of Libraries
The General Directorate of Libraries (DGB)(GDL) of the Universidad Nacional del Nordeste (UNNE) is a functional unit under the General Academic Secretary of the University, which currently integrates a general directorate and two directorates with their respective departments. Likewise, The General Directorate of Libraries is in charge of the administrative and technical coordination of the processes and the library services of the University and its Library Network.
Its mission is to act as an auxiliary body of research, education, and professional and cultural training of students, teaching and research personnel, and as an instrument of the University actions and its area of influence, in the various scientific, professional and economic media linked to its disciplines.
For this reason, it needs to be at the forefront of information and communication technologies, making the most of it, in order to optimize its services and establish a space for the development of knowledge, where information for the user is a resource of the highest value.
